The only thing better than art is art that lights up. The only thing better than that is art that explodes, but we still owe the fire marshal a fancy gift basket after last month's debacle, and frankly, our first aid kits are running a bit dry around here. So in keeping with the theme of art that lights up, we will be proudly featuring steampunk light fixtures in our Emporium's Wardenclyffe series. Each of these one of a kind pieces, made from vintage electrical equipment salvaged from a laboratory warehouse in Shoreham, NY, evokes the bold pioneering spirit of the American industrial revolution, without all the dismemberment and flying sparks. So until someone other than Michael Bay is allowed to deal in art that explodes, we will be proudly illuminating the bejeezus out of some salvaged Serbian scientist scrap metal, and selling it to our discriminating clientele. Not everything we sell celebrates the darkness.

Photoshop amps the drama, no?
