2014, exhausted, has collapsed into the dust, and a spunky young 2015 has leapt
onto the scene, promising to annoy us all with its blather about bright future
and promise and similar high school commencement prattle. As we sweep up the
last bits of tinsel and shredded wrapping paper from our shop floor and shotgun
the final quart of spiked eggnog (Sláinte!), we reflect on a startup year that
has shown great potential for our little online adventure. Moving forward, we
will be creating a Darkvale channel on YouTube, expanding our online fine art
galleries, upgrading our shop space and website, and finally opening our much
delayed Darkvale Emporium so that we can clear up some shelf space around here.
We will also, of course, continue to manufacture and acquire wild new artifacts
and anecdotes, and even now are looking into providing online tutorials to those
interested in learning a few of the tricks of our twisted trade. Thank you all
for your support so far, and thank you in advance for liking and sharing our
FaceBook page with friends, loved ones, coworkers, and creepy neighbors. As I
look ahead to the swirling cloud of darkness, monkey screams, Three's Company
reruns, and dubstep mixes of Menudo tunes, I realize that I probably should have
checked the date on that eggnog. Perhaps it is best that I go now.
