Sometimes to chase the stars, first you must build a few of your own. As we begin design and prop construction work on the film Chasing Photons, our effects laboratory and design studio are a flurry of activity, even as we continue to add to our Emporium's inventory and move forward with other projects. Chasing Photons, a beautiful independent film project directed by the deeply talented Barry Kirsch, will be filmed in the Central Florida area with local resources and talent, and is certain to be a spirited contribution to the steampunk genre when complete. Anyone interested in learning more about the film, and maybe even participating in or contributing to this unique project in some way, can follow the film and its progress on the Chasing Photons FaceBook page, as well as that of The Portrist. Soon the ever present sawdust of our production shop floor will have a little stardust mixed in, and as always the Darkvale Studios FaceBook page will keep everyone up to date with our end of things - kindly share our page with your friends and loved ones and help us grow our little social media bonfire.
